New Southeastern Regional Office

We are pleased to announce that Ernie Boughman, AICP has joined Toole Design Group as our Southeast Regional Director. Ernie has over 18 years of experience in transportation and land use consulting, holding leadership roles in companies ranging in size from 10 to 56,000 employees. “Ernie is among the best project managers I’ve worked with,” said Jennifer Toole, the firm’s principal. “His focus on client service, along with his strong relationships throughout the region makes him a natural choice to lead our efforts in the Southeastern U.S. We’re thrilled to have him on board!”
 
Ernie will assist with the company’s growing body of work in the Southeast, including statewide Safe Routes to School contracts in Georgia and South Carolina (under contract with URS), and bicycle and pedestrian planning and design projects underway in Arkansas, Atlanta, Birmingham, Knoxville, Chapel Hill, Raleigh, Gastonia and Durham.

Minneapolis, MNWe’re proud to announce our new office location at the Colonial Warehouse – 212 Third Avenue North, Suite 405, Minneapolis, MN 55401. Joining Tony Hull in this office is Ciara Schlichting, AICP. Ciara is an accomplished Senior Planner with 15 years of experience who is currently managing the Minnesota Statewide Bicycle Plan and also managed the Award-Winning Mississippi River Trail bikeway.
                          
Madison, WI We’re pleased to announce that Adam Wood, AICP has accepted a position in TDG’s Madison office. Adam is a Transportation Planner with eight years of experience developing bicycle, pedestrian and trail plans, including bicycle master plans for Austin and San Antonio, TX.
 
Boston, MAOur Boston office recently expanded and now occupies the entire 4th floor at 33 Broad Street. The office also once again secured Gold Bicycle-Friendly Business status from the City of Boston. Interested in working in our Boston office? We’re hiring a Traffic Engineer.
 
Seattle, WA Our Seattle office is growing yet again. Recent additions include Kristen Lohse, ASLA, a landscape designer with an extensive portfolio of trail design experience, and Brian Lee, a recent graduate of Western Washington University with a degree in Urban Planning. We are also actively interviewing candidates for a Senior Engineering position in our Seattle office to assist with the company’s growing body of design work in the Pacific Northwest.
