Toole Design Denver Office Adds Two New Staffers

As the Denver region grows and adds new active transportation options, we are excited to welcome two new staff members to the Denver office, to help communities in Colorado and beyond take meaningful steps towards safer streets for people who walk, bike, and drive.

Tommy Humphrey, PE joins us as a Project Engineer. He brings over 15 years of experience on transportation engineering projects in Colorado, most recently as a Colorado Department of Transportation Resident Engineer. With a diverse design background that includes roadway, traffic signal, and drainage design, as well as community engagement and construction management, Tommy played a key role in innovative Region 5 projects like the Durango Continuous Flow Intersection design, and the design of pedestrian crossings, intersections, and road diets through historic towns.

Trung Vo, PE, AICP joins us as a Project Planner with broad experience planning, managing, and delivering multimodal transportation projects. His past work includes active transportation plans, multimodal corridor plans, and traffic analysis. As the former Bicycle and Pedestrian Program Manager for the City of Raleigh, NC, Trung advanced the implementation of Raleigh’s bikeshare system and oversaw planning and design for the City’s first two-way separated bike lane.

“We are thrilled to add Tommy and Trung to our team, bringing with them enthusiasm, a proven commitment to improving places for people, and a wealth of technical skills,” said Jessica Fields, PE, AICP, Denver Office Director. “They expand our ability to deliver complex transportation planning and civil engineering projects, and are ready to get to work for you, our clients and colleagues in Denver and beyond.”
