Toole Design’s Urban Design Group Gains Steam

Toole Design Group has long been recognized as a leader in active transportation – creating vibrant and dynamic places that provide people with a range of transportation options. In the summer of 2015, we formed an Urban Design Group that focuses on creating memorable, high quality urban places. This group has built on our expertise in transportation and land use planning, landscape architecture and design, engineering, and community engagement to deliver an integrated package of services individually tailored to each of our client’s specific needs. Our Urban Design Group has worked on a range of projects for public and private sector clients, including corridor and downtown master plans, transit-oriented development, campus plans, (re)development projects, complete/green street design, and other initiatives that demand holistic solutions and create healthy, vibrant communities where active transportation is a natural part of daily life.

Examples include:

  •     Jackson Street Streetscape Project, Saint Paul, MN
