Ashley Schultz is a planner at Toole Design’s Raleigh office. She draws on her spatial analysis, policy, research, and community engagement skills to make the places we work, live, and play more equitable, livable, and sustainable . Prior to joining Toole Design, Ashley helped to craft community engagement activities and policies for public transportation projects in North Carolina’s Triangle region. Ashley has a master’s degree in public health with a concentration in health behavior from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While there, she assisted the Chatham County Council on Aging in developing a plan for the community to better support the older adults that call the County home. This experience inspired her to combine her bring her public health expertise to the planning and design field.
In her free time, Ashley enjoys dancing, doing yoga, hiking, cooking, rooting for Seattle sports teams, and exploring new places in her backyard as well as around the world.
