Brian Tang, EIT
Brian Tang is an engineer with a broad, interdisciplinary skillset. In addition to more conventional engineering design tasks, Brian routinely works in close support of planners and urban designers. He is skilled at producing maps and other exhibits for public engagement; conducting quantitative map-based analysis of walking and biking networks; writing, editing, and perfecting layouts for reports and other documents; and visualizing proposed designs using 3D modeling, photo editing, and graphic production software. At Toole Design, Brian’s engineering tasks frequently include production of plan layout sheets, concept designs for pedestrian and bicycle facilities, and corridor modeling to determine grading and right-of-way impacts using CAD software.
During the summer months, Brian can be found sailing and racing MC-Scow sailboats on Lake Harriet in Minneapolis. He is a year-round cyclist.
