Dan Reed has worked with communities across the United States to make their streets safer, more attractive, and more enjoyable public spaces. As a trained architect and planner, Dan’s experience includes Complete Street design, site planning, travel demand research, and public outreach. Dan led urban design for two downtown revitalization efforts in Oneonta and Elmira, New York, crafted maps and renderings for the award-winning Ann Arbor Downtown Street Framework Plan, and developed recommendations to help an urbanizing county bring its municipal parking system into the 21st century. He has also participated in multiple design charrettes, one of which (in Miami, Florida) culminated in the construction of a road diet in the heart of downtown.
Outside of the office, Dan really likes bike rides in the city and seeking out new and interesting ice cream shops.
