Jessica Schoner, Ph.D

Jessica Schoner, PhD, is a researcher and project planner in Toole Design’s Minneapolis office. Her research and practice experience focuses on the relationships between the built environment and travel behavior decisions. Prior to joining Toole Design, Jessica helped communities estimate the impacts of their planning investments on physical activity and health and develop equity-related performance measures for prioritizing planning investments. She earned her PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota, where her doctoral research focused on the effects of bicycle facility network structure and bike share systems on bike mode share.

Outside of work, she enjoys walking and going to the park with her family.
