Senior Planner | Deputy Office Director
Megan is a Senior Planner and our Oakland Office Deputy Director. She has experience in active transportation planning, Safe Routes to School plans and programs, community engagement, and land use and neighborhood planning. Megan is skilled at facilitating conversations on community needs and in helping communities explore how to balance differing priorities and needs equitably and efficiently. When writing and speaking, Megan focuses on unscrambling planning jargon to make transportation planning easy to understand so that people can be more actively involved in decision making. She is dedicated to creating user-friendly plans that authentically reflect the community’s interests and help clients move swiftly from adoption to implementation.
When not in the office, Megan can be found gardening, reading Agatha Christie novels, and exploring new places with her husband and son.
