Michael Hintze is the Director of Planning in Toole Design’s Seattle Office. He is a versatile planner experienced in non-motorized transportation policy and system development, land use planning and health impact assessments with extensive experience across the west coast. His past projects include the Aurora Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan, the Redmond Central Connector Trail, and the San Antonio Pedestrian Safety Action Plan. Michael is an effective project manager, skilled facilitator, and possesses a wide range of technical skills. His passion is making communities safer and more inviting for bicycling, walking, and other active modes.
In his free time, Michael enjoys creative endeavors with his wife and two children, and getting out into the beautiful Northwest landscape.
