Michael Rosas

At Toole Design, Mike works alongside City of Austin staff as an engineer in a blended team within Austin’s Active Transportation and Street Design Division. He was first exposed to the topic of environmental sustainability through his high school’s agriculture program where he learned about animal husbandry, ecology, wildlife and fisheries, and land management. In addition to focusing on urban stormwater infrastructure design, Mike has augmented his skills to include green city plans, urban design, and sustainable development.

Outside of his work designing human-scale transportation infrastructure, Mike enjoys kayaking on the lake, biking around Austin, hosting a podcast, and spending time with his crested gecko, Hubert.
