Sheila Borkar is an engineer in Toole Design’s Silver Spring office. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia, where her passion for creating sustainable and livable spaces developed into an interest in multimodal transportation. At Toole Design, Sheila has worked on a variety of design and analysis projects in urban, suburban, and rural contexts. Her experience includes bicycle facility design, signing and marking plans, wayfinding design, lighting analysis, multimodal traffic analysis, and project management.
