Landscape Designer II

Siba El-Samra is a landscape designer and urban planner with dual master degrees in Landscape Architecture and City and Regional Planning and bachelor degrees in Landscape Architecture and Ecosystem Management. Her background has given her a broad perspective and full spectrum of skills to tackle any project with design and policy in mind. Siba has broad experience working on a variety of projects ranging from detailed bike facility design and landscape and green infrastructure design to urban design guidelines and policy recommendations. She also has significant community engagement experience with local groups, local governments, NGOs, and international institutions. Siba has the ability to graphically represent project details for the public, as well as verbally communicate project findings. Her background and project experience allows her to straddle the planning and design disciplines well while providing practical, sustainable solutions for urban streetscape projects. She is passionate about creating inclusive spaces and achieving sustainable infrastructure solutions.

In her free time she enjoys listening to music, reading, running, exploring new places, and cooking.
