Tammy Sufi has 15 years of experience working on a range of transportation-related projects including bicycle, pedestrian, and traffic calming plans, trail feasibility studies, congestion and parking analyses, and traffic impact studies for new development. Her extensive project management experience includes overseeing the Arlington County, VA Master Transportation Plan update, the Seattle Bicycle Master Plan and the District of Columbia Bicycle Master Plan. She is also well-versed in Safe Routes to School planning, having assisted two DOTs in statewide program development.
Prior to joining Toole Design, Tammy worked with the private consulting firm of Buckhurst Fish & Jacquemart, Inc. in New York City, with the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments, and with the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy in Washington, DC. An excellent project manager, Tammy is known for helping clients combine the community’s vision with innovative and realistic solutions to planning and design issues.
In her free-time, Tammy enjoys gardening, traveling, and taking walks and bike rides with her family. She can be found on the sidelines of her children’s sporting events nearly every weekend, rain or shine.
