Prior to joining Toole Design, Taylor was a planner at the Portland Bureau of Transportation, where she worked on a team to create the Pedestrian Master Plan and coordinated with City staff to ensure projects adhered to Complete Streets principles. She holds a master’s degree in urban and regional planning from Portland State University and a bachelor’s degree in urban affairs from Saint Louis University. She also studied abroad for a semester in Madrid, Spain, where she discovered her affinity for active transportation and decided to pursue a career in transportation planning.
Outside of the office, Taylor can be found riding her bicycle or motorcycle to explore the Colorado mountains, being walked by her dog, Astra, or cooking with friends.
