Engineering Group Manager
Todd has over two decades of both private and public engineering and project management experience in North Carolina. In his most recent role within the City of Raleigh Transportation Department, he managed the Transportation Safety Program. Todd conducted monthly safety meetings with the NCDOT Traffic Safety Unit to vet safety project concepts and led the bidding process for consultant designed flatwork and signals projects within the City of Raleigh. Oversite included review of the preparation of cost estimates, bid advertisements, pre-bid meetings, bid openings/award, pre-construction/contractor kick-off meetings, as well as the review of contractor invoices.
Within the private sector, Todd managed a team of engineers in the development of full construction plans for roadway projects driven by private development projects. Process included the design of construction drawings, pursuit of plan review/approval through local municipalities/NCDOT, drafting of project specifications and bid documents, as well as the processes covering project advertisement through construction completion.
In his spare time, Todd enjoys biking, exercising, being an empty nester with his wife, and playing with his two Labrador Retrievers.
