Mary Pat Tumelty, PE

Mary Pat (MP) Tumelty is a licensed professional engineer in Pennsylvania. She has a wide variety of experience in transportation, infrastructure, and planning in both the public and private sectors. She is passionate about creating a built environment that serves all members of society in an equitable way. She loves the challenge of creating balanced multimodal solutions for all users of the right-of-way, from buses to bikes and pedestrians. MP engages in all levels of a project to implement planning visions into constructible designs. Her experience includes shared-use trails, neighborhood bikeway loops, bus stop design, traffic calming measures, subsurface utility infrastructure, and large-scale transportation planning.

Outside the office, MP enjoys cuddling her dogs Phido and Dotty, building Lego sets, taking the path less traveled, exploring the back roads of America, and chasing sunsets.
