Project Planner II, Safe Routes to School

Bradyn brings over a decade of experience working in the public and private sectors to advance health equity and improve positive health outcomes through transportation planning and healthy community design. Prior to joining Toole Design, Bradyn worked at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment where she oversaw the climate and health team and successfully managed competing projects, strengthened cross-sector partnerships, co-created community-driven solutions, and implemented evidence-based strategies. She led the creation of Colorado’s innovative safe routes to parks program at the state and local levels to make it safer and easier to walk, ride, and roll to youth-serving destinations such as schools, parks, and libraries. Bradyn received her master’s in urban and regional planning from the University of Colorado Denver and master’s in public health from the Colorado School of Public Health.

In her free time, she enjoys being physically active, spending time outdoors, practicing yoga, hanging out with her husband and two huskies, socializing with friends, growing her own food, and being civically engaged in her community.
