Toole Design Group is excited to welcome Jeffrey Ciabotti as the newest member of our national network of planning and design professionals. “Jeff brings a versatile, in-depth knowledge of developing trails and greenways as essential community assets,” said Jennifer Toole, the firm’s principal. “He has an ideal balance of national perspective with local experience that will enrich our services to people and communities across the U.S.”
Jeff has more than 15 years of experience helping transform communities through trail and greenway development emphasizing good design, active transportation, and health. Most recently he worked at Save the Children US Programs (STC) where he improved nation-wide health program interventions for children and their families while overseeing a newly established organizational growth model. Prior to his role at STC he was Vice President of Trail Development at Rails-to-Trails Conservancy (RTC) where he oversaw RTC’s field operations, program services, and launched its Urban Pathways Initiative and national grants program. While heading up the organization’s trail planning team Jeff consulted on urban and regional projects across the country. He has presented numerous workshops, trainings, and keynote addresses domestically and internationally to share his enthusiasm for trails and active transportation.
Jeff will work out of the Washington, DC office assisting with projects and partnerships nationwide while focusing on developing trail planning and design business regionally and nationally.
