Alex Peppers, AICP

Alex is a Senior Planner with a passion for neighborhood and comprehensive planning efforts. His work is grounded in equity, sustainability, and community development, with particular interest in historic preservation, active transportation planning, and bicycle and pedestrian safety. He strives to improve the quality of life for all residents at various stages of life. Before joining Toole Design, Alex spent 15 years in public sector planning with the City of Cincinnati and City of Pittsburgh.

Originally from Cincinnati, Alex moved to Pittsburgh in 2023 with his partner and pets. He enjoys exploring urban environments and parks, traveling, watching movies, listening to music, and taking in the local arts, culture, and food scenes.
