Bhumika Dahiya
Planner II
Bhumika is a Planner II with expertise in both public and private sector urban design and planning. As an urban planner and architect, she focuses on striking a balance between the built environment and nature, ensuring that our urban landscapes are not only aesthetically pleasing but also conducive to healthy living. Her experience spans a wide range of areas including research, area plans, corridor studies, public spaces, housing, tactical urbanism, design guidance, and public engagement. She brings a multidisciplinary perspective to Toole Design and strongly embraces Jan Gehl’s principle of prioritizing people over places and buildings. Her global experience enriches her approach to creating vibrant, walkable and livable communities. Bhumika has collaborated with diverse clients in the United States and internationally to develop livable neighborhoods and dynamic public spaces through a Complete Streets design approach.
Outside of work, she enjoys painting, exploring new places on foot, and immersing herself in music and cooking.
