Senior Principal Planner

Carolyn is a Principal Planner with expertise in transportation planning, project development, urban design, community planning and public engagement. Carolyn has managed a diversity of projects including multi-modal corridor plans, feasibility studies, downtown and neighborhood transportation plans, street design guidelines, and transit-oriented development plans. She works closely with communities to envision and implement transformative street and facility designs that improve safety and equity for all users and bolster the vitality of the community. Her commitment to inclusive design and ability to bridge the gap between technical expertise and community values are instrumental in developing visionary plans that can be implemented. Her professional projects are undertaken with the objective of creating attractive public spaces and facilities that add to the livability and sustainability of the community and its transportation system. Carolyn has led numerous multidisciplinary teams on complex, multi-faceted projects.

Outside of work Carolyn enjoys exploring cities on two feet and two wheels, skiing, knitting, and walking in the woods with her family, friends, and energetic young dog.
