Carrie Long, AICP

Senior Planner

Carrie is a planner specializing in active transportation, shared spaces, and helping clients prepare for emerging mobility services. Her experience includes conceptual design and analysis for transit, bicycle, and pedestrian connections, as well as several years in community development and policy at both local and national levels. She is an instructor at the University of Pennsylvania and previously led the University’s Center for Safe Mobility, supporting the development of metrics for cyclist safety and pedestrian wayfinding. Carrie is recognized for convening diverse stakeholders and is always looking for creative ways to bridge the worlds of academia, practice, and advocacy.

She lives and works in Philadelphia, where you can find her strolling through tiny streets and big parks with her dogs, Colby and Maya.
