Hilda Sun

Hilda is Toole Design’s Controller and works from the Silver Spring, MD office. As Controller, she is responsible for all aspects of accounting operations and supervises the Accounting and Project Accounting Teams.

Hilda has over 20 years of accounting experience working in various small and large government contracting firms. She oversees quality control for financial transactions and financial reporting. Hilda maintains the US Government indirect cost pool structure and is the liaison for DCAA and financial audits. She also reviews and updates accounting processes, policies, and procedures to improve, enhance, and strengthening Internal Controls, thereby ensuring US GAAP and US Government compliance (i.e., FAR, AIDAR, and CAS). Hilda received her Bachelor of Science in accounting from George Washington University and holds an active CPA license from the state of Maryland.

Outside of the office, Hilda enjoys traveling with her family, walking her dog, cooking, and playing Ma Jong with friends.
