Hugh is a GIS Analyst in Toole Design’s Silver Spring Office, where he provides cartography and spatial analysis services to teams across North America. Hugh holds a Master of Science from University College London’s Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis (CASA), part of the Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment. He also completed a Bachelor of Arts at Macalester College, studying Economics and Chinese. Hugh is passionate about quantifying the structure and mechanisms of modern cities and understanding how people make everyday decisions about where they live and how they travel.
In his time outside of work, Hugh volunteers with a junior high afterschool program and with the Red Cross Missing Maps project. He also works at a local bike shop on weekends.
