Jakob Ward, PE

Jakob is a Project Engineer in Toole Design’s Seattle office. Jakob received his bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Washington. Prior to working for Toole Design, Jakob worked as an engineering intern for the Seattle Department of Transportation, where he worked on a wide range of transportation projects all around the city, from Safe Routes to School to greenways to low cost tactical urbanism improvements. Through his work, Jakob has accumulated extensive knowledge of and experience in bicycle and pedestrian safety.

Outside of the office, Jakob enjoys travelling and exploring Seattle.
