John Mahoney, PE

John is a seasoned professional engineer with a wide variety of design and project management experience in both the public and private sectors. He specializes in working with diverse groups of stakeholders to develop context sensitive designs that balance the needs of multiple modes of transportation and respond to surrounding land uses. John has taken a wide variety of projects from initial concept through final construction, including sidewalk upgrades for ADA compliance, shared use pathways, transit stops, and roadway and intersection designs, as well as utility upgrades, green infrastructure and mixed-use/mixed-income urban infill site developments.

Outside the office, he enjoys hiking, skiing, sailing, kayaking, and swimming, as well as dining out, live music and dancing.
