Engineer II

Jonathan is an engineer and planning analyst with experience in transit facility and system design. He is committed to sustainable, people-centered projects with a focus on multimodal integration. Jonathan is passionate about improving communities’ livability and equity through the design of streets, active transportation facilities, and Vision Zero safety projects. He has experience developing and implementing transit projects from service planning to facility site selection and design. He has served clients across the Southeast by leading tasks and providing production support for Bus Rapid Transit design projects, local and regional transit plans, and transit facility site development in collaboration with public and private agencies and stakeholders. Jonathan specializes in multimodal transportation integration, transportation demand analysis, transit service planning, corridor and site development, and public engagement.

Outside of work, Jonathan enjoys going fly fishing, experimenting with plant-based Puerto Rican cuisine, playing (and making) various string and percussion instruments, and spending quality time with his partner and two cats.
