Jorge Planas

Jorge has been educated both in architecture and urbanism. With almost three decades of professional experience, Jorge has had the opportunity to work on many innovative, award-winning projects throughout the world that has influenced positive change. Many of the projects he has contributed as a designer have been published and served as models in academia. His personal experience varies from regional planning, urban revitalization to site-specific master plans, resort designs, code writing, throughfare designs, as well as architectural, interior and landscape designs. He is well versed in the design and detailing within all aspects of urban planning has been trained on transect-based design and SmartCode calibration. Jorge is the Deputy Office Director for the Orlando office as well as Senior Principal Urban Designer.

Jorge enjoys traveling with his family — which includes his beloved miniature schnauzer — while absorbing and learning from various cultures and communities.
