Ophelia Washington

Ophelia is a planner in Toole Design’s Minneapolis office. She holds a bachelor’s degree in architectural design and civil and environmental engineering from Stanford University. Before joining Toole Design, Ophelia worked as a multimodal planning intern for Ramsey County, where she supported BRT station area planning and intentional community engagement efforts. She is passionate about designing equitable and safe transportation systems that uplift their surrounding communities.

Outside of the office, Ophelia enjoys taking on sewing projects, exploring new cities, and attempting to swim in as many Minnesota lakes as possible.
