Preston Buehrer is an engineer at Toole Design’s Boston office. As a longtime cycling advocate and transplant from the technology industry, Preston strives to take a thoughtful and data-driven approach to bicycle and pedestrian designs. Preston received his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University. While at BU, Preston had the opportunity to study and live in Dresden, Germany for six months. His time abroad afforded him the opportunity to observe how several other countries approach transportation infrastructure design and create safe, pleasant streets for all roadway users.
Outside of work, Preston is an active member in local cycling advocacy groups, as well as an aspiring bike racer on the weekends.
