Ryan Batty, P.Eng.

Principal Engineer

Ryan is a Professional Engineer with nearly two decades of experience in transportation engineering. He brings a broad background that includes the design and tender of roadway improvement projects, as well as transportation planning and traffic engineering for communities across western Canada. Ryan has worked on projects that included functional planning, traffic impact assessments, traffic simulations, and capacity analysis. His design experience includes projects of varying complexity, from multidisciplinary projects including LRT design, to rehabilitation and intersection improvement designs. By combining multimodal transportation choices with his traditional roadway design experience, Ryan strives to develop transportation systems which are comfortable and safe for all users.

Away from the office Ryan likes to spend time with his two daughters, cheering for the Oilers, and pursuing his dream of being an elite rec league curler.
