Sara Rauwolf, PE

Sara is a professional engineer with a deep understanding of designing for the multimodal user experience. Sara’s experience includes multimodal design for rapid implementation through full-build projects, bicycle and accessible pedestrian facility design guidance and trainings, active transportation planning, corridor planning, and safety studies. She understands the need to balance technical requirements, policy, and community input to evaluate design options and achieve context-sensitive transportation solutions on complex corridors.

Sara co-leads Toole Design’s Transportation Design Resource Group, which develops and shares resources and best practices to inform transportation design projects companywide. She is also a member of the APBP Policy Committee.

Outside the office, Sara enjoys photography, getting active outside (by hike, bike, or ski), and soaking up as much sun as possible.
