Sarah Grossi
Planner II
Sarah is a planner in Toole Design’s Denver office. Her experience includes projects focused on tactical urbanism, transportation oriented development, transportation demand management, statewide transit planning, public engagement, and a variety of other strategic transportation planning processes. Sarah is passionate about the design and planning of inclusive and connected streets and public spaces that are both comfortable for and accessible to all. She uses her technical knowledge, extensive design and GIS skillset, and experience working on cross-functional teams to meaningfully collaborate with stakeholders and develop strategies and educational resources aimed at incentivizing multimodal transportation. Sarah has a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Colorado Denver and is an active member of the American Planning Association Colorado Chapter (APA) and Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS).
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys hiking, roller skating, playing the drums, engaging with Denver’s music community, and reading on her porch with her cat (Ham) and dog (Ella). She is also actively working towards her goal to visit every National Park and Forest.
