Serena Powell

Serena is a planner in Toole Design’s Los Angeles office. Her background in urban planning, urban design, and tactical urbanism fuels her passion for creating spaces that make people feel inspired, safe, and comfortable, with the goal of one day creating someone’s favorite place. Serena brings experience in developing design concepts, unique and interactive community engagement, Safe Routes to School, placemaking, mobility hubs, pedestrian and bicycle improvements, corridor and streetscape improvements, and bus stop analysis.

Outside of work, Serena enjoys roller skating along the beach, ballet, and spending time with friends and family.
