Tyler Golly, P. Eng has been named Edmonton Office Director and Western Canada Market Lead for Toole Design. A skilled engineer and project manager with more than a decade of experience in active transportation design and planning, Tyler is establishing a permanent office in his hometown of Edmonton, Alberta.
Since starting with Toole Design in May, Tyler has played a key role in establishing our credentials as a leader in active transportation and livable communities. Toole Design has won roles on the Edmonton Bike Plan, the St. Albert Active Transportation Plan Development Strategy and Gaps Assessment, and the University of Alberta’s Student’s Boulevard Concept Design. Tyler has also contributed to projects in the United States, most notably the Houston-Harris County Bicycle Facilities project, creating a rapid implementation plan for a new network of connected bicycle facilities in Houston, TX.
“I’m thrilled to be furthering Toole Design’s presence in western Canada from Edmonton, where we can share innovations between cities in the U.S. and Canada,” Tyler said. “It is an exciting time to be working with communities as they seek to address issues related to safety, livability, and climate change.”
