Claire Dean

Claire is an engineer at Toole Design working on-site with the City of Austin’s Active Transportation and Street Design Division. Her experience working in the private and public sectors includes multimodal street design, data analysis, community engagement, and traffic modeling. She is passionate about designing accessible, safe transportation systems that bring people together and connect them to where they need to go.

Outside of work, Claire enjoys anything music, arts, or outside — singing, arranging music, gardening, hiking, playing guitar and piano, attending concerts, visiting local art galleries — and using active transportation to get there!
