Alazar Feleke, PE, PMP

Alazar is the Civil Engineering Group Manager in Toole Design’s Silver Spring office, bringing decades of experience shaped by some of the region’s most complex and high-profile transportation projects. Throughout his career, he has guided the design of highways through national parks and historically significant parkways, including the Foothills Parkway in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Baltimore–Washington Parkway, and the George Washington Memorial Parkway. Alazar manages projects from their earliest concepts through final delivery, coordinating teams, navigating challenges, and ensuring that every solution meets the highest standards for quality, constructability, budget, and schedule.

When he’s not immersed in project work, Alazar enjoys the things that keep him grounded and inspired — listening to jazz, getting outside for walks and runs, experiencing new cuisines, and exploring new places through international travel.
