Toole Design is pleased to announce the promotion of Jessica Zdeb, AICP to the role of Portland Office Director, effective April 27, 2019. Previously, Jess was a Senior Planner and Associate in our Portland office, and is recognized for her passion for innovation and high-quality work.
“Jess has been an integral part of Toole Design since joining us in 2012 and has hit the ground running in her new role,” said Jennifer Toole, President. “I am thrilled with her appointment and look forward to this next chapter for our Portland office.”
“I am very excited to be leading our team of talented professionals here in the Portland office,” says Jess. “Our design and planning staff are doing innovative work in the Portland metro area and throughout Oregon, and I am keen to continue building relationships with communities with a desire to transform their streets into multimodal assets that are comfortable and enjoyable for all users.”
Jessica takes over leadership of our third-largest office from Rob Burchfield, P.E., who is stepping back from full-time work. Rob joined Toole Design after over 29 years with the City of Portland and grew the office from a staff of two to a team of 14 transportation planning, design, and research professionals working on innovative solutions to multimodal transportation challenges across the country. The Portland office serves as a west coast administrative hub for our work across North America.
Please join us in congratulating Jessica on her new role. You can reach her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
