Bert Kuyrkendall, PE, AICP, CNU-A

Bert manages the engineering group in Toole Design’s Atlanta office and brings many years of public- and private-sector experience planning, designing, and implementing Complete Streets projects. As both an engineer and planner, he takes a balanced approach to creating mobility systems that are safe, accessible, and inviting. His work focuses on street and multimodal facility design, transportation design standards and codes, public presentations, and collaboration with multidisciplinary design teams.

Outside of work, Bert enjoys gravel biking, bike touring, and camping. He also loves exploring new cities, visiting museums, and reading.
