Fiona Clarke

Fiona is an engineer in Toole Design’s Silver Spring office. She earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Howard University and brings experience in GIS, transportation design, and traffic engineering. Through her academic and professional experiences, she has developed a strong interest in creating transportation systems that improve safety and accessibility for all users. She is passionate about helping communities become safer and is excited to continue exploring the many facets of transportation planning and engineering while expanding her technical expertise.

Outside of work, Fiona balances her technical interests with a strong creative spirit. She plays trumpet and sings with her church and enjoys spending her free time crocheting, scrapbooking, and diamond painting. She also loves exploring new places and cultures and is working toward visiting all 50 states — having already traveled to 30 — as well as expanding her list of countries beyond the United States.
