Engineer I
Isha is an engineer working on-site with the City of Austin’s Transportation department. She specializes in street planning and design for bicycle, pedestrian, and transit infrastructure. With a multicultural perspective and international experience from Germany, she excels in construction project management and network design for fiber optic installations. Isha is passionate about creating sustainable multimodal infrastructure that enhances public health and fosters livable communities. To pursue her passion, Isha finished her master’s in Infrastructure planning from University of Stuttgart from Germany after finishing her Bachelor’s in civil engineering from India.
Outside of work, Isha is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys traveling, hiking, cycling, and swimming. She expresses her creativity through painting and loves exploring new culinary adventures, whether cooking delicious meals or experimenting with baking recipes.
