Jason develops sustainable transportation solutions for complex urban environments. As Toole Design’s Boston office Director, Jason has extensive experience overseeing efforts that span transportation planning, design, and engineering. These include MassDOT statewide design contracts and on-call agreements with the Cities of Boston, Cambridge, Newton and Somerville.
With a background in transportation engineering, Jason leads our team in undertaking projects that deliver quantified public safety benefits, enhance mobility alternatives, and foster community inclusion. Jason is an advocate for Vision Zero and champions its principles in various forums, including in his role as Chair of the Institute of Transportation Engineer’s Advocacy Committee and as a contributor to the Strong Towns organization. Jason was appointed to serve on Toole Design’s Board of Directors in 2021.
Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, supporting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and coaching youth basketball.
