Jim Sebastian

Jim is a Senior Planner at Toole Design. Before joining Toole Design, Jim oversaw the planning and implementation of bicycle and pedestrian improvements in Washington DC for two decades. Under Jim’s leadership, the city added 100 miles of bike lanes and trails, dozens of safer pedestrian crossings, and one of the county’s first and largest bikeshare systems. He also managed transportation division at DDOT for four years. He understands how to get things done in large organizations and balance stakeholder concerns during project development.

Outside of work, Jim swims, bikes, runs, and walks his unruly dogs.
