Josh Green, PE

Josh is a Senior Engineer on-site with the City of Austin’s Transportation Department where he supports project design and development in the Active Transportation and Street Design Division. He is a licensed engineer with a diverse background in the private sector specializing in transportation and traffic engineering design projects, predominantly in the Middle Tennessee area and the southern region of the country. Equipped with extensive experience working with City and state DOTs, Josh brings enthusiasm and an eagerness to collaborate with clients and communities to envision a more sustainable transportation network and public realm. Josh is active in professional organizations such as the Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals and serves on the Pedestrian and Bicycle Standing Committee for the Institute of Transportation Engineers.

In his free time, Josh enjoys travel and experiencing the benefits of good urban design by cycling and walking in urban and natural environments. Burning all those extra calories makes exploring new restaurants and live music more rewarding!
