Engineer II

Kristen has experience as a transportation engineer and traffic engineer in a variety of design projects at Toole Design. Often, her work focuses on the multimodal user experience in historically vehicle-centric settings. Kristen’s past work has involved creating and vetting conceptual design options with stakeholders, developing traffic signal timing and phasing schemes and signal equipment plans for complex intersections in urban downtowns, and evaluating the local and regional impacts of pedestrianizing major arterial roadways. Kristen has worked with a variety of communities across the country including municipalities in Massachusetts, Georgia, Ohio, and California.

Outside of the office, Kristen enjoys finding new recipes to fuel her rock climbing and biking adventures.
