Leo Byers, EIT
Engineer
Leo is an engineer at Toole Design’s Boston office. He graduated from Northeastern University with a BS in Civil Engineering and a transportation concentration. During his studies, he traveled to the Netherlands for a study abroad program focused on Dutch transportation systems and policy planning. There, he developed a fervent passion for creating safer streets and cultivating happier places for everyone. Leo’s experience covers transportation design projects from all across New England with a focus on progressive, multimodal solutions. He is actively involved in local safe streets advocacy and volunteers for organizations dedicated to active transportation.
Outside of the office, Leo loves playing basketball and ice hockey and supporting Boston sports teams. You may also find him slowly riding a bicycle, stunned by the beauty of our world.
