Mariam Massoud, EIT

Mariam is an engineer in Toole Design’s Columbus office. Through summer travels, she realized that her personal lifestyle largely revolved around the transportation options available to her, whether that meant she was commuting by bicycle or traveling by train. She recognizes the power that transportation infrastructure has to improve people’s health and quality of life. Mariam’s designs promote multimodal streets that increase the viability of active transportation options. Through her work, she reimagines existing streets and redesigns them for the safety of all roadway users.

Outside of the office, Mariam enjoys drawing in her sketchbook, reading at a remarkably slow pace, and playing ultimate frisbee with friends.
