Rosie is a professional engineer with a background in transportation planning and design. She has experience in both the public and private sectors and has led a variety of multimodal transportation projects in both Canada and the U.S. She specializes in traffic and safety analysis for active modes infrastructure, geometric design, and public engagement. During her time with Toole Design, Rosie has led and contributed to a wide range of transportation analysis and design projects. She has managed and produced multimodal concept plans ranging from bus stops and intersections to multi-mile corridors, including both rapid-implementation and full construction projects. She has evaluated options using a balance of technical analysis and public feedback for bus lanes, bike lanes, shared use paths, roundabouts, pedestrian connections, outdoor dining areas, signal upgrades and more. Prior to joining Toole Design, Rosie worked for several years for the City of Edmonton, Alberta where she learned the importance of implementing transportation policy in a holistic and equitable way.

Outside the office, Rosie enjoys baking, knitting, playing video games, and discovering new local restaurants with her husband.
