Russell Isler is an engineer at Toole Design’s Boston office. Russell specializes in bicycle and pedestrian design, and map making, He strives to make communities safer and more accessible for cyclists and pedestrians. Russell received his Bachelors in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Prior to joining Toole Design, Russell worked as an intern for the City of Agawam Engineering Department where he helped design and build bike lanes through the downtown area. The bike lanes improved bike safety and accessibility to the downtown sector and the city as a whole.
In his spare time, Russell enjoys spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, and playing the alto saxophone.
