Project Summary
Sarasota County, FL, is blessed with outstanding public amenities including trails, beaches, athletic fields and community and recreation centers, and needed a long-term development and enhancement plan to ensure they flourish well into the future. Toole Design developed a master plan that the County is using to both rehabilitate and revitalize its existing park facilities and trails and plan for and build new facilities. The results range from ADA-compliant sidewalks and park restrooms that are up to code, to new and more connected trails as well as programming for athletic fields and sidewalks. We also worked with individual cities within the County to ensure collaboration between jurisdictions, making the County’s parks a true asset for everyone.
